Wheelchair

The Maryland Medical Assistance Transportation program will provide wheelchair transportation that is most cost effective. Services are provided by vans and buses that are equipped with wheelchair lifts and restraints. Based on the recipient’s condition re-evaluation may be necessary. Lastly, depending upon the recipient condition, an aide may need to accompany the recipient.
